The following are the Specific Terms and Conditions of the “SORTEO ESPECIAL CARNAVAL” Promotion, which are available to users on the Calvo website: https://calvo.on-preview.com/bases-sorteo-especial-carnaval and on Calvo Spain’s corporate Facebook profile https://www.facebook.com/calvo.on-preview.compana.oficial/
1.- COMPANY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROMOTION
The company responsible for this Promotion is Calvo Distribución Alimentaria, S.L.U., with registered address at Ctra. A Coruña – Fisterra, km 34.5, 15100, Carballo (La Coruña) and Tax ID number B-15812142 (hereinafter, “the Company”).
2.- PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE PROMOTION
The Company is organising the Promotion entitled “SPECIAL CARNIVAL GIVEAWAY” (hereinafter, the Promotion) with the aim of strengthening customer loyalty and increasing Brand awareness.
The territorial scope of the Promotion is Spain (mainland and the Balearic Islands), excluding the territories of Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands, and will take place online via the Company’s official Facebook profile. https://www.facebook.com/calvo.on-preview.compana.oficial/
Participation is free of charge.
3.- START DATE AND END DATE
The Promotion will commence on 16 February 2026 at 12:30 hours and will end on 20 February 2026 at 23:59.
The Company reserves the right not to carry out the Promotion if, at the date and time indicated for its start, there are fewer than 10 participants registered. Similarly, the Company may extend the duration of the Promotion by one day, with the new end date being February 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., if fewer than 200 participants have registered by the specified date and time.
4.- ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All natural persons aged 18 or over who are residents of Spain (mainland and the Balearic Islands) and who meet all the requirements set out in these Legal Terms and Conditions are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
In order to participate in the Promotion, participants must correctly complete all the information requested for participation and accept the terms and conditions of the Promotion, as well as the privacy policy established on the Facebook social network.
All information provided by the participant must be truthful. If a participant has registered using false information, their participation will not be taken into account and they will be excluded from the Promotion and from the possibility of winning any prize. The use of third-party data is strictly prohibited in all cases.
The use of third-party data without their prior consent is strictly prohibited.
The Company shall not be responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by participants. Therefore, if the data provided is incorrect or contains errors, the Company shall not be responsible for being unable to contact potential winners to inform them of the result or to arrange delivery of the Prize.
Exclusions:
Employees of Calvo Distribución Alimentaria, S.L.U., or any of the companies of the Calvo Group, advertising agencies, or promotional agencies involved in the organization of the Promotion and/or their first-degree relatives by blood or affinity are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
5.- PROMOTION MECHANICS
Participation in the Promotion is free of charge. It is an essential requirement for participation to comply with all the provisions set out in these Legal Terms and Conditions.
Participation shall take place as follows:
- In order to participate in the Promotion, Participants: (i) must hold a Facebook account, (ii) must follow Calvo’s Facebook profile (https://www.facebook.com/calvo.on-preview.compana.oficial/) during the duration of the Promotion, the drawing and the selection of the winner, and (iii) must like the post dated 16 February 2026.
- Participants must comment on Calvo’s Facebook post dated 16 February 2026, tagging one (1) friend who holds a Facebook account at the time of participation.
6.- DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIZES AND SELECTION OF THE WINNER
One (1) winner will be selected randomly through the Easypromos platform. The winner will be announced on 23 February 2026 at 12:30 via the Company’s Facebook social profile (https://www.facebook.com/calvo.on-preview.compana.oficial/) by updating the text of the post published on 16 February 2026 and by direct message from the Company via Facebook to the winner. In the event of the extension referred to in section three above, the winner will be announced on 24 February 2026 at 16:30.
The prize will consist of a selection of Calvo products.
7.- PRIZE CONDITIONS
The prize or the right to obtain it is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or for any other prize, nor may it be altered or modified. The commercialization and/or sale of the prize or of the right to obtain it is strictly prohibited.
If, for any reason beyond the Company’s control, the intended prize is unavailable, the Company reserves the right to substitute it with another of equal or greater value.
The Company shall not be responsible for the use made of the promotional prize by the winner.
The Company shall not be responsible for services to be provided by third parties in connection with the prize of this Promotion.
Consequently, the Company shall be released from any liability from the moment the winner accepts the prize. The winner may not bring any legal action against the Company for any reason arising from the prize, its misuse, or as a result of benefiting from the prize.
The claims period shall end fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of conclusion of the Promotion.
8.- COMMUNICATION AND DELIVERY OF THE PRIZES
On the date indicated in section six above, the winner will be announced on the Company’s Facebook social profile and the Company will contact the winner via private Facebook message within a maximum period of twenty-four (24) hours from the publication of their name.
The winner must provide the following details necessary to manage the delivery of the prize (full name, ID number, email address, postal address and telephone number), which will be sent by courier to the postal address indicated by the winner. The correct provision of the above details by the winner is mandatory for the management of the Prize.
If the winner does not contact the Company within a maximum period of forty-eight (48) hours from the time they were contacted by the Company via private message, or fails to provide the requested details, or refuses the prize, or breaches any of the conditions of these Terms and Conditions, another winner will be selected in the same manner indicated in section six above.
Effective delivery of the prize shall be conditional upon the winner’s compliance with the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions and the accuracy of the data provided to the Company.
9.- MODIFICATIONS
The Company reserves the right to modify or extend these Terms and Conditions regarding their mechanics, prizes or participation deadlines, as well as any other aspect of the Promotion, provided that such modifications are justified, do not prejudice or undermine the rights of Participants, and are duly communicated to them.
10.- ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Participation in this Promotion implies that the Participant fully and unreservedly accepts the conditions of these Legal Terms and Conditions. Likewise, participation in a giveaway of this nature implies acceptance of the rules and privacy policy of the Instagram social network through which it is carried out.
11.- PUBLICATION OF COMMENTS OR OPINIONS
Comments or opinions whose content is deemed inappropriate, offensive, insulting or discriminatory, or that may infringe the rights of third parties, will not be permitted. Comments against an individual that violate the principles of the right to honor, personal and family privacy, and one’s own image will also not be permitted. The Company shall not be responsible for any damage caused by comments made by Participants in the Promotion that may at any time offend the sensitivity of other Participants.
Participation in this Promotion, as well as the publication of comments made by Participants in the posts, may under no circumstances violate the Instagram Community Guidelines or the Instagram Terms of Use.
12.- RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
The Company reserves the right to automatically disqualify and remove, without prior notice, any participant who it considers is not complying with the participation conditions, is making improper use or abuse thereof, is acting unlawfully, or has not completed the requested data or has provided illegible data, and may take any civil or criminal action to which it may be entitled. The creation of robots, bots or any other tool or computer application that facilitates non-compliance with the participation rules is expressly prohibited.
In this regard, the Company declares that it has implemented appropriate technological mechanisms and systems to detect any possible fraudulent, anomalous or malicious activity intended to alter normal participation in this Promotion.
The Company reserves the right to select an alternative winner if there are reasonable grounds to believe that a participant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
The Company shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, delay or any other circumstance attributable to third parties that may affect postal shipments.
The Company shall not be responsible for delays, damage or loss in the delivery of the prize due to any cause not directly attributable to it.
The Company shall not be responsible for the operation of the Instagram website. Likewise, it shall not be responsible for its privacy policies or its terms and conditions regarding registration, personal data protection and intellectual property. Users are recommended to carefully read Instagram’s terms and conditions before providing any data.
Instagram does not sponsor, endorse or administer this Promotion in any way, nor is it associated with it. It is expressly stated that Instagram is completely unrelated to this promotional activity.
13.- IMAGE RIGHTS OF THE WINNERS
The winner expressly authorizes the Company to reproduce and use their first and last name and other data, as well as, where applicable, their image, in any promotional activity related to the Promotion in which they have been declared the winner, for an unlimited period and without such use conferring any right to remuneration or benefit, except for the delivery of the prize won.
Likewise, the winner assigns free of charge to the Company the rights to their image indefinitely and worldwide for use in the media chosen by the Company in relation to the prize received.
The winner’s name may be published on www.calvo.on-preview.com/bases-sorteo-especial-carnaval, for which participants give their full consent by accepting these Terms and Conditions. The Company may disseminate the participation in the Promotion, as well as the name of the winner and participants, through all virtual, printed, television, radio, online and other media for the purpose of promoting and giving visibility to the Company and this Promotion.
14.- FORCE MAJEURE
In the event that the Promotion cannot be carried out properly due to detected fraud, technical errors, or any other circumstance beyond the Company’s control that affects its normal development, the Company reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend it, without participants being entitled to claim any liability from the Company.
15.- PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
The Company responsible for processing your data is Calvo Distribución Alimentaria, S.L.U., with the address and identification number indicated above, for the purpose of organizing and managing the Promotion for the period necessary to comply with the provisions set out in these Legal Terms and Conditions. The legal basis that legitimizes this processing is the data subject’s consent.
To ensure the transparency of the Promotion, the winners’ social network name/alias will be published by the Company in the medium where the Promotion takes place. The legal basis that legitimizes this processing is the Company’s legitimate interest in ensuring the transparency of the Promotion.
Furthermore, if the winners’ social network name/alias is to be published in any other medium available to the Company, the winners’ consent will be requested for such publication. The legal basis for this purpose is the winners’ consent.
Participants’ data will be processed for the duration of the Promotion.
However, considering the operation of the participation mechanisms, the data will remain published indefinitely within such mechanisms until the participant decides to delete their participation. Likewise, the winners’ data will be processed indefinitely in the media in which their data have been published until they request the Company to delete such publication. Data will not be transferred to third parties except where legally required.
Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability before the Company by written communication to the addresses indicated in the heading of these Terms and Conditions or to the following email address dpo@nauterra.com, providing proof of identity and identifying themselves as a participant in this Promotion and indicating the personal data provided during participation. Furthermore, if they consider that their right to personal data protection has been infringed, participants may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
